"UNROLLED" marks a brief yet significant phase in my creative process, where I momentarily paused work on Anatomy of Voids due to time limitations. During this period, I could only spare a few Sunday nights to experiment with rolls of transparent sheets, which allowed me to step away from the constraints of precision and explore the expansion of grids on a much larger scale. This spontaneous, unstructured experimentation offered me a fresh perspective, highlighting new possibilities for “Anatomy of Voids”. It unveiled the potential for the project to evolve into a master grid, one that balances open and closed spaces, contrasts between black and white, and the dynamic tension between void and form.
