MO JAMSHIDI

Mo Jamshidi is an Iranian architect whose journey into art and architecture began in Tehran. After earning his bachelor’s degree from the School of Fine Arts at the University of Tehran, his passion for design led him to Italy, where he completed a master's degree at Politecnico di Milano. His thesis, On the Footprints of Pumice, centers on the renovation of an industrial heritage site on Lipari Island, transforming the abandoned pumice industry into an open-air museum that captures both the cultural and environmental shifts caused by the industry.

Now based in Hamburg, Germany, Mo has accumulated hands-on experience in a variety of public and private projects, working on new builds and renovations. In his firm, he plays a pivotal role not only in design but also in CG-Art, 3D printing, and drone photography for project documentation.

In addition to his architectural practice, Mo's artistic work spans multiple mediums, reflecting his commitment to visual storytelling and form exploration. Anatomy of Voids, a painting project, delves into the relationship between fullness and emptiness within grid structures, examining how space and form interact. His photography projects, such as Stop-Motion and Invisible Cities, emphasize narrative through imagery, capturing layered visual stories that explore both urban and abstract themes. Mo is constantly evolving his approach to art, refining the narrative dimension in his work to communicate more impactful stories.
