“Simple as laziness” emerged during a particularly frigid winter in Tehran. While the city's winters are typically mild, the winter of 2014 brought unusually cold temperatures, dipping to around -7 to -10 degrees Celsius. I found myself at home, studying for an exam, and during that week, I began capturing the streets and the presence of snow from behind my window. My intent wasn't to shift my perspective or capture perfectly sharp images, but rather to convey the mood and essence of the cold that enveloped the city. Through these photographs, I aimed to reflect the stillness and serenity of those wintry days.
