FOLIES

In architecture, a "Folie" refers to a small decorative structure without practical function, designed primarily for aesthetic purposes. These whimsical forms began to appear in my drawings around 2015. Rather than forcing their design, I allowed the lines and their inherent narrative to guide their evolution. This slow, organic process continued until 2020, when I transitioned from sketches to 3D objects. So far, I have created six finalized sculptures, which are now ready for 3D printing. Each piece embodies a journey of form, not just as an exploration of architectural playfulness, but as a meditation on the dialogue between structure, imagination, and the abstract beauty of the unnecessary.
